Tuesday<\/strong> 28 March from 6.30 pm. at the \u201cSakis Karagiorgas II\u201d amphitheatre of Panteion University<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

m\u03adta | <\/a>the Centre for Post-Capitalist Civilisation<\/a><\/strong> and Panteion University are organising the event \u201cA generation under siege: Greek Youth between Crisis and Assertion\u201d <\/strong><\/em>on Tuesday<\/strong> 28 March from 6.30 pm. at the \u201cSakis Karagiorgas II\u201d amphitheatre of Panteion University<\/strong>, aiming at giving an overview of the suffocating landscape created by neoliberal educational \u201creforms\u201d, miserable job prospects for the young, emigration, ubiquitous repression, the commodification of leisure time, lack of political representation.

The first part of the event, which will take the form of a round table, will bring together people with a background in research on aspects of Greek youth issues, while the second part will be an open process, where groups of young people will make interventions and present performances and the results of experiential workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The speakers of the round table will be\u00a0Yanis Varoufakis<\/strong>\u00a0(Professor of\u00a0the University of Athens, Secretary of MeRA25),\u00a0Alexandra Koronaiou<\/strong>\u00a0(Professor of Panteion University),\u00a0Yannis Kouzis<\/strong>\u00a0(Professor of Panteion University) and\u00a0Alexandros Sakellariou<\/strong>\u00a0(PhD in\u00a0Sociology), while the journalist\u00a0Agapi Varouni<\/strong>\u00a0will moderate the event.

Afterwards,\u00a0Katerina Botsari<\/strong>\u00a0(PhD, candidate in ASFA,\u00a0coordinator of the\u00a0\u201cASFALESS<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0group) will present the experiential workshops that took place at the 5th Painting Laboratory of\u00a0Athens School of Fine Arts, under the supervision of Professor\u00a0Yannis Skaltsas.In addition, there will be the artistic intervention\u00a0\u201cThose who leave and those who stay\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0by a group of students of Panteion University, in context with DARE research programme, and a visualised presentation by a working group of the\u00a0MeRA25 Youth\u00a0Branch,\u00a0and a discussion open to all present. Journalist Nektaria Psaraki\u00a0<\/strong>will moderate the discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
